Hosting Directory - 10/21/2006 3:18:37
Hi,

I have started a new web hosting directory http://www.webhosting-directory.org. It was expected PR6 but it just got PR1

Pleas go through it and tell me if there is something wrong in it

The design is professional and decent. But the font of the text is too small. Very large database. Hats Off ! For a good PR one has to concentrate on getting good quality relevant links.

It's a link farm. There is no content whatsoever. It looks, and excuse me if this is wrong, like a standard template you bought that is used by many many others on the web.

As far as PR goes you'll have to work like a lunatic to get links to the site as it won't do it on merit alone. Oh and just in case you have the idea that it might be a good idea to post it on hundreds of forums in order to get the back links, be warned. Many will delete you immediately for spamming and the rest mask your link with their own site link so it won't help.

. . . and that template uses tables for layout. I'd expect any "new" internet related website now to be using CSS layout, otherwise it is really showing that the site owner isn't "up" with the latest.

It also took 37 seconds to load on dial-up!
