i am using fireworks to batch size my graphics. i have this one tiff that after i size it the background keeps comming up green. no matter what size, it is not happening to any other graphic, just this one, i have it saved as a gif with no background and then save it as a tiff then batch size. any ideas?

where are you taking the tiff when you've done with it? importing into another program or where??

i am making the graphic in PS, saving as a giff then save as tif, importing into FW to bactch size, this one folder is the only one that this is happening to. all of the others have been comming out great

how are you choosing your transparency? surely if you export from psp as tiff - rather than reducing to gif first then resize you will get better images and choose the transparency in fw (if you can't export with transparent backhground in psp) ?

not sure i follow your process exactly, but for this one image you can simply select the green with the wand tool and delete it for a transparent bg. where are you sending the tiffs after that?

they are 256 that i am resizing in FW. in PS when i open the Tiff , there is no green just the transparent BG. its when i resize in FW that i am getting this green.

Thanks
