Fanpage.com - What do you guys think of it?, - 10/22/2006 22:25:26
Hi guys,
Fanpage.com is a site for sports fans. We have alomost everything in there even a blog space for members

- Meet all the fans around the world
- Live games stats
- Free fantasy football with cash prize

What do you guys think of it? Please leave me some comments, suggestions or critiques. Thanks a lot

With all it's excitement, I still think it's a little too uninteresting. The custom font works, but it could be just a little better structured. It's a sports website anyway, so it needs to be extra dynamic. The red you've chosen with the black background is a very successful combination.

Here's how I would make it a little more vibrant and pleasing to the eye, if you mind:

Your images are missing alt text, which is not good. You should at least define alt texts for the navigation images.

I also have a little problem about the headlines on the homepage. It's confusing. It would be clearer if the bigger headings would be “NFL”, “MLB”, “NBA”, “College Football” etc. instead of “Headlines”, “Headlines”, “Headlines”. The leagues are the more important pieces of information, so they should be presented first.

On news pages, I think there ought to be more padding around the text. Right now they're too close to the edges of the white area.
