A new one for me, help - 10/24/2006 20:41:51
Hi

here's the deal:

I designed a website in FP at customer's request . Uploaded it via FP (enabling extensions)

My backup files were lost. What is a good way to retrieve the files? Can I do it directly from the server?

Suggestions? thank you all!

You should be able to open the live site and publish to a local volume or web. Just click the Publish icon then browse to a local directory.

That help?

Thanks. Let me try it and I'll let you know. One question, when you mean "open the live site" do you mean directly form the server's administration?

Nope, I mean open the site directly with FP using "Open Web". That make sense?

thank you very much! It worked. Man, I hadn't ever done that. I like FP but lately I've been using only DW as a WYSIWYG editor. Otherwise, I am using notepad.

Thanks again!
