mod_rewrite help - 11/3/2006 1:57:04
I'm working on developing roscripts.com and I came across an important issue: Search engyne friendly url's. I have a function which makes things easier but something's missing.
At this moment, a listing page url looks like this:
domain/name-of-listing.html

and this is under Flash > Software as a categ.

What I want is this (the category to be present in the url of the listing page, no matter how deep my listing goes in the category tree):

domain/Flash/Software/name-of-listing.html

I appreciate your help, if any.

If you are using
quote:

domain/name-of-listing.html
there is no way to grab any information that shows it should be under Flash/Software

Do you want to rewrite everything that matches "domain/name-of-listing.html" to "domain/Flash/Software/name-of-listing.html"

If so, this will rewrite it for all categories, even ones that are not in Flash>Software
