OK, I have finally been able to create multiple websites on my local host server......my problem was posted here a few days ago.
Each sight uses unassigned IP rather than 127.0.0.1 and all use port 80....the differential is the header name.
The first sight that I have been working with for sometime is: localhost. I would like to publish from localhost to one of the other sites on the same server using Frontpage. When I try to, it asks for a URL of the new site. I have tried a number of different things but they do not work.
The new site data folder is C:\inetpub\worksite
If I browse to that as the place to publish to, I am asked for a URL. The site in the IIS website tree is called WorkSite.
I have not been able to publish to it???? What am I missing now?
