New Idea!New Website!Comments Needed! - 11/10/2006 6:08:24

Hello All,

We have a website which offers low cost advertising with a different way of displaying the ads.(on the main page)
The main aim is to collect the ads all over the world and entertain people viewing the all these kinds of ads...
Could you please write your comments and suggestions about AdsOnTime.com?

Sure! At the top left of your opening page (I didn't go any further than that page btw.) underneath your tiny logo, it says "$1 per second".

On my dial-up connection it took 74.93 seconds to load this page so tell me, am I due $74.93 for waiting that long or is that how much it cost you per second to put that page together?

The site is uninspiring, it's not laid out well, the spelling and punctuation are poor.

I can't see the point of it at all. Who wants to go to a site just to look at ads other than the people that put them on there? Most of us run ad blockers and as far as I can see there's no categorisation of what is there, so what do you do? Guess?

Hi Nicole,
It's some mean,don't you think?

Here what I'm talking about is a future-entertainment page for all who has free time to see the ads all over the world. As you did see on the list of advertisers;there are just 6 advertisers for the moment. But imagine what's it going to look with all kinds of advertisements all over the world after 20.000 advertisers?yes?

Ofcourse you are going to see the price for the business:Hosting, domainname, effort to make the webpage and the idea would ofcourse have some charges.Would you imagine it be free?Is it charity?

I'm sorry that it took you 80 secs to load the page but the connection speed is not that slow to view pages all around the world. If you are considering to advertise on www.adsontime.com it would be nice to keep the connection speed issue around your area in the mind and arrange the lenght for your advertisement according to that matter.

Kind Regards,

Hi Jaybee,

Here is the thing:

If you have free time and surfing on web just for fun,I beleive it is a good idea that AdsOnTime provides people to see the ads all over the world.
These ads are can be related to anything;like; real estate agencies, pet finder sites, personal webpages,date-matchers,newspapers,sportive and cultural events,marriage,movies,etc...
Anything and everything!!!

So,if you are sitting in front of the computer and bored with surfing;you would feel relax watching the all kinds of ideas, news, information;advertisements. It is what some people do watching the ads between the programmes on tv.
Why not on internet?

But it's just a long list with no categories, so I'd have to sit through loads of ads which are no interest whatsoever before I see one where I might be tempted to visit the site.

I reckon I'd have gone elsewhere for my entertainment by then.

and what's "Free for Last 18 Applicants!" Last 18?

There is a promotion for 20 applicants and as 2 are taken ; free advertisement for 18 applicants left.
What’s the better saying for that, please?

About the category thing;I suppose you are right.
Thanks alot for your kind suggestion...

hatshepsut, (is that an anagram?)

Your whole site is based on a misaprehension.

Nobody really want's to look at advertising. You have to trick them into reading or viewing it by cleverly tacking it on to other content which will first arouse their interest.

A site comprising only advertisements, unless it's a classified site and even then I have my doubts, is doomed to failure.

Nobody ever records the TV adverts on their video recorder and skips the programs, it's the other way round.

A look so dated it's not even Web 1.0.
An appalling animation that my 7 year old nephew could have done.
One word - SPAM

It's not a "new way of advertising", it's an old way of conning businesses out of cash. If people want to see amusing ads, they go to You Tube or Google Video, and as for re-setting my computer time so I can see this rubbish, the word filter on the OutFront forums unfortunately edits out my response.

Please excuse me, I have to go and watch some paint dry.

womble,

There is a difference with AdsOnTime and other video showing web sites.

People can only view the videos which they choose to see with You Tube or Google Video.

However, with AdsOnTime ,the advertiser chooses the time for their ads. Visitor can see the ads at which time they are watching. They do not have any choise to pick but waiting for the next one;SUPRISE! .

It's not a simple continously ad show but ads on special and specific times. The advertiser can choose the time which he/she thinks Prime Time for internet users.Like late at night or daytime on weekends. It's all up to the advertiser !

Visitors can also view the ads they desire clicking on the "Advertisers" page on AdsOnTime but it won't be a non-stop one. This way they can see only the one they wonder about;one by one like other video showing web sites.

This is such a non-starter of an idea I'm wondering if the whole point of this thread was to get a backlink?

Hi Guys,

Here is the text I have written faq for a new section.Could you please check it?Is it clear to undestand?Any spelling mistakes?

What is the Game?

The game is catching the code on the advertisements on the main page and sending it to the AdsOnTime Game Center as soon as possible. The codes can appear anytime any day and give you the chance to earn cash at home doing nothing but just watching the ads.

How can I win?

First thing to do is to register with your email and then watch the ads very carefully.Time to time there appears a code on the right corner of the advertisements.Clicking on that code will lead you to send it to the AdsOnTime Game Center. The one who sends it first earns the prize.

What are the prizes?

The prizes always changes but minimum prize is $0.02 and maximum is $3.

How can I see my balance?

In your account section you can see your prizes and balance.

How can I redeem the money I earn?

In your account, choose redeem .There are two options.First one is money transferring(paypal, credit card, moneybookers, westernunion) and the second one is free seconds on AdsOnTime.com

What is the minimum limit to redeem?

The minimum limit for transferring your money is $20 or 5 seconds.

Does it matter where I live?

No,it does not matter where you live.Be sure you are at the age of registering the games,competitions,races,etc... in any laws all around the world.

Well that's as clear as mud! As the person running the competition you should be aware of and complying with any legislation in any competitions you run.

Sorry, mate. I have to agree with the others. The point of your site is....there really isn't a point. In order to be successfull with an idea like yours, you need to have incredibly high trafic. That will hardly ever be the case, since there is nothing interesting about the site at all. Not even the design. Who wants to advertise on an unknown web site? And, don't get me wrong, but $1 per second???
