Too small? Too light? - 11/12/2006 21:50:22
Although comments and suggestions about anything related to my site is appreciated, I was especially wondering what you thought about the font size and color.

Is it too small?

Is it not dark enough?

My gut is telling me it's perfect, as is; but my gut is often wrong.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'd say yes the font size is too small and too light in colour.

Colour-wise I'd go for #555.

Font-wise, you're using a fixed print sizing (PT) which strands poor old users of IE as they can't resize it.

Go to % or ems - somewhere around 76% on the body element would be preferable but you can go a bit smaller as long as you use these relative sizing because then people are able to make it bigger if they want.

I found that in Firefox, increasing it by one size made it perfect but as Tailslide points out, you can't do that in IE so I have to say it's too small.
