Free Calendars - 11/22/2006 9:38:07
I seem to remember asking about calendars on here a while back - but I can't find the post...

I was using the Tbird calendar plugin but the problem is that I have so many email accounts that the diary was always hidden and therefore I forgot about it!

So I came across this nice little freebie calendar today: http://www.rainlendar.net/cms/index.php

It sits on your desktop with the calendar, events list and a to do list (you can choose which show) and there are hundreds of skins available for it.

Here's a pic. Neat eh?

There's a paid version which integrates with Outlook too.

I suppose its what you want really. I need something that gets the wifes present then tells me when to give it. Fortunatly I married her on her birthday so I always remember that, The trouble is remembering the Birthday

There is an internet gift service you can sign up for. You register all your dates, tell them about the person, what they like etc. and they do it all for you. :)

Looks good. I use my Palm Desktop though to synch with my PDA which for me seems to be the only option at the mo, as the Palm won't synch with TBird, and I uninstalled Outlook.

I don't think a desktop calendar component would work for me ... see attached.

Every couple of days I get rid of some of them, believ-it-or-not. But I'v egot so many things on my plate that I don't want to forget about. You know ... out of sight, out of mind?

Well, my eyes and brain ARE full, now that I think about it ...

And -- trust me -- you don't even WANT to see my email folder system!
