Digital Picture Frame - 12/5/2006 20:32:43
How do digital picture frames work exactly? I'm thinking about getting one as a gift; however, I want to make sure they are easy to work before I buy one.
How do they store pictures? Is it a flash card from the camera they put directly into the picture frame? If that is the case, do certain picture frames only work with certain cameras?

It appears the more expensive ones are direct connect...I'm looking to get one for 100 dollars US. Maybe I'll get lucky at amazon / ebay :)

Mike, very nice photos! I should have asked you before buying my wife a new camera for her birthday which just passed. Oh well, next time... (Would you be offended if I used one for my desktop?)

Has anyone here purchased a digital frame? They are quite expensive and I would hate to purchase a crappy one. But what a great gift idea for the wife!
