I was doing some research for a client and bumped into this. Looks like a pretty slick way to way to manage and display your genealogy data on a Web site.

Thanks Tom that looks really good. I have two concerns,

1. Does it allow multiple marriages and display them properly. I've got 3 separate packages and only one allows them and even then it only displays the first marriage in the tree, you have to pull up a separate tree for the second. I'll email him and ask.

2. When the heck am I likely to have time to plug my tree of over 1500 people into it. I'm still trying to get notes I did 10 years ago into some sort of sensible order. [&o]

Looks like that may be worth investigating. Same here though Jaybee. I've tried a number of different apps, and none of them could cope with the convolutions of the branches of my family tree.

On the notes Jaybee, I've found card indexes with sections for each branch of the family colour-coded was the best way to work - the old penguin "Trace your ancestors" book I was given as teenager has been invaluable over the years - that said, it's about 5 years since I last looked at my collection of cards and assorted notes, and whenever I do I always get a headache trying to figure out why all my ancestors decided to call all their kids George or William (one branch of the family has four generations with a George amongst each batch of siblings! [:@]), who was the strange old lady known as Grandma Grey who my mum remembers from her childhood but everyone agrees that she wasn't anyone's granny, and amongst the ramblings of a distant cousin, is the information that an ancestor "married lady from France - possibly called Violet" gonna be of any use to me?
