publishing issues - 12/12/2006 23:30:52
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post or not...

I use webhost4life for my site, and I publish using ftp through frontpage. Everything was working fine until today, when i tried to update a page, went to 'publish web' and got an error saying it couldn't find a web at the ftp in port 21. I have no idea how to fix this, or why this started happening. Also, my blog which is part of my site that i publish through blogger is having trouble - there i'm getting a 'permission denied' error, and I'm assuming they must be related. I've tried talking with the hosting service, but the help they're giving me is completely useless. Any ideas?

If you were using FTP through FrontPage, that means you should not have any FrontPage Components (such as guestbooks, forms, counters, etc..) in your website. If that is the case, just continue to FTP. If you do have those components, then you will need to make sure you are publishing to the correct URL.

If that doesn't fix your problem:
What version of FP?
What is the EXACT error message?
