Other PC's acting as a user on another PC - 12/14/2006 9:18:50
I've seen the ad's for devices (terminals) like the nstation, which basically makes your 2000/XP machine into a server and allows multiple users to use your PC's programs. This makes me wonder if I could use a laptop or another PC to act as a terminal and share a PC's programs. I have a few old laptops with legal OS's, but I don't have enough legal copies of Office to go around. Is there a (free) way of letting a laptop act a a local user on my desktop and use the programs on my desktop? (And if so, I wonder if it is legit, with the EULA?) Andrew
