It's slightly broken in Firefox, Opera etc. Also you're using the XHTML 1.1 DOCTYPE which is a "Bad Idea". Drop it back to either XHTML 1.0 or HTML 4.01 - preferably Strict . With either of those you'll have to correct some errors as your markup falls between the two.

It`s just my oppinion but that menu , with red hover is just not so great. Else the layout looks nice , the rest of the colors are nice. I like that graphic with that plant.

I'll give my honest 2 cents and comment on its visual impact. I really like the site. It is well designed and warm and inviting to my eyes; just what a site should be that desires to convey the idea of offering hope. But, I personally don't like the image on the home page. Upon landing on the page for an instant it I thought it was a Marijuana leaf. (OK, I said I'd be honest). Then after I realized it was not, I had to figure out what the image was trying to say. Perhaps the image is closely identified with your ministry but as a first time visitor it doesn't do a thing for me. I'd love to see an inspirational photo or a composite of people ministering to others on the home page. Or find an inspirational image that includes a lamp, lighthouse or sunrise to complement the Bible verse that is under the logo. I'd search a place like istock photo where images only cost a dollar.
