Unable to get results from published form - 11/20/2001 19:34:00
I have a form for comments on my contact page on http:/www.bubblonia.com, but I can't get it to work. I set it up with FP to email me the results, but it doesn't, although it informs me it has. Any suggestions please? Thanks
Gene

I just filled out the form so let me know if you got it.

I have heard of some people who have had trouble getting the email portion to work when they also have a file saved to the server as well. You may want to try taking that out and see if it helps. I have never experienced this difficulty myself, but I have heard that others have.

Hi,
I had to use a different form action other than what FP does and it works pretty well.

<FORM ACTION = "/cgi-sys/FormMail.cgi" METHOD = "POST">
<input type=hidden name="recipient" value="ANYONE@YOURDOMAIN.COM">
<input type=hidden name="subject" value="SUBJECT">
<input type=hidden name="return_link_title" value="TITLE">
<input type=hidden name="redirect" value="http://YOURDOMAIN.COM/PAGE.HTML">

<textarea name="message"> </textarea>
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Submit">
</form>

I had that same problem, too. The forms won't work if the fp extensions aren't installed, and even then, they were very glitchy for me. I got so tired of messing with the them and only getting about 70% of the forms that were submitted, that I switched over to formmail, too. You can get it at:
