Her host does not provide any filtering saying that it slows down the server too much. The host says the individual should be responsibile for filtering spam. It works excellent filtering SPAM and virii before it ever hits our Exchange host. If you have control over your MX records, this is a great product IMO. However, this isn't for 'individual' use. Most will have at least a basic filter to get rid of the millions of spam that comes in every day, but some might not provide anything more than that. The past week I haven't received a single piece of spam, usually I average less than 5 per day. Yes, it does have a 'learning' address you just forward the SPAM to and it adds it to it's algo's and filters. I like it quite a lot and has never had any outages since I've been using it (about 15 months). I can't seem to find pricing information at all. If it is only $12/yr per user, I could easily see this as an awesome tool for handling mail when you are on very low budget host. You have to submit a request for them to give you a price. It's simple to setup and invisible to the user. It's an MX record change that points to their servers and then they send to yours. It's filtered before it ever hit's the box. In fact, their servers are the only SMTP traffic I allow to my box for enhanced protection. I like it a lot - it's quite 'hands-off' and just works. Not perfect (and IMO none of them are) but we get 60K+ messages sent to our domain weekly with a 98%+ filter sucess. And we have the filter tuned down slightly to eliminate false positives. I personally get around 40-60 legit emails a day with maybe 2 SPAM on a bad day.
