[8|] Is it possible - at all - to upload a PPS for online viewing?

It's a 12 slide PPS with plenty complicated animation and attached audio/narration. File size just under 9mb, lasting 12 minutes. I tried converting the PPS to Flash (Flash-Spring) ending up in a total disaster.

What do you mean by total disaster? It's the only thing I know of that's recommended for putting Powerpoint on the web.

Native Powerpoint stuff doesn't work at all well with browsers other than IE and apparently IE7 isn't too happy with them either.

There's this but I don't know anyone that's used it.

orapin -> RE: PPS online viewing (12/31/2006 9:02:01)

What do I mean ... ? Do you speak English?
I didn't come here to discuss a failure software that works with --- WOW - ONE BROWSER? how successful that is.
I have IE - if this makes you more happy...

But - why don't you create something what I did and try this looser software yourself instead of asking stupif questions,--- or try it with an English interpreter...

What about my original question - what language do you suggest you understand?

orapin -> RE: PPS online viewing (12/31/2006 9:10:21)

I forgot - Jaybee - don't bother replying - you just end up gettiing upset reading my messages in a tone you would suggest RUDE!

See - I don't pretend to be the nice guy, if xxxxxxxxxxxxx like you just can't read and ask stupid questions. I suggest go and marry with the loosers out there.

In case you are the webmaster, well done - master of illiteracy!

go and entertain the rest of yours

jaybee -> RE: PPS online viewing (12/31/2006 9:41:52)

Funnily enough, yes I do speak English, it's my native language and I'm rather good at it. Gosh! I even have A levels to prove it and many years of actual usage to back it up.

You posted that it was a total disaster. I merely asked what you meant by that as somebody on here may have been able to explain what had gone wrong.

None of us on here are mind readers and if you don't give us the information then we can't help you.

However, it appears that your English, native or not, isn't too good unless it consists of swear words and profanity. You're going to get a lot of help that way.

Nick -> RE: PPS online viewing (12/31/2006 9:52:27)

Jaybee or any other moderator, can one of you delete or at least alter this poor souls's post? I have never in all my years here seen such language posted on this site and would hope that it would never be tolerated.

Thank you,

Nick

jaybee -> RE: PPS online viewing (12/31/2006 9:56:16)

Sorry Nick, I was just in the process of removing the offending word when you posted.

I haven't deleted this thread as I didn't want to end up being accused of concealing criticisms against myself, however weird I consider them to be. I shall leave it up to Spooky as to what happens to it.

womble -> RE: PPS online viewing (12/31/2006 11:17:50)

Damn! I missed a rude word? Was it one I already knew, or do I need to get Jaybee to teach it to me? [8D]

jaybee -> RE: PPS online viewing (12/31/2006 11:20:14)

Think Pulp Fiction. It seems to be where our poster learned his English.

orapin

I will not use foul language. I'll just say this:

You must be the stupidest person in the world. your IP can be traced. This forum is overflowing with expert programmers who will find out who you are. All I will say is this: I will find out who you are and I will turn you into a pulp. Nothing more. Nothing less.

ORAPIN is a plant (Pelargonium ×hortorum) hybridized by a plant hybridizer in Dresden, Germany

Mango Himself -> RE: PPS online viewing (1/2/2007 13:40:07)

A plant? they sure have evolved ina wicked way, haven't they? [:D]

MCD -> RE: PPS online viewing (1/2/2007 14:23:38)

Good job oripin, you just insulted one of the board's most helpful posters and one of the most liked as well. I bet you get a lot of help here. Happy New Year!

mtfm -> RE: PPS online viewing (1/2/2007 16:03:08)

Dang.

Someone needs to make a New Year's resolution to be nicer, especially to those trying to help. And while they're at it, they need to look at going back to school to learn spelling, sentence structure, and how to read. This is of course in addition to the socialization skills most people learned in kindergarten.
