Pay per Play? - 1/2/2007 13:33:07
Has anyone a suggestion as to how I might implement something like this? We'd like to create a library of videos that would be made available for viewing for a small fee. Thanks for any comments or suggestions. Stephen

In a nutshell... Hire internet programmers to build the site. Go with a very strong host. Purchase all the bandwidth you can afford. Start an SEO campaign. Advertise on blogs and select websites. Advertise on Yahoo and Google. With free competition from YouTube.com and Video.Google.com you have a challenging tasks. Try to find a niche where you can specialize. If you're not providing a *much* better service that the current popular video sites you don't have much of a chance.

Mojo! Thanks for the reply. We already have a niche and a website (ANMT). We have a library of VERY specialized material that we were thinking of making available online. These would be mostly instructional in nature. We were thinking of asking very small fees per view ($1-5?) depending on the length. Any ideas? Stephen
