etweeden Posts: 1 Joined: 1/3/2007 Status: offline	.htaccess & .htpasswd - 1/5/2007 12:32:23 I have composed these files (notepad) and uploaded them to the server. When I go out to test an actual 'real time' login, I get the Dialogue Box up OK, but when I type in a username and password that is in .htpasswd file (KxS generator encrypted PW) I just get the Dialogue Box flashing back at me twice, and on the third try get an "unauthorized" message back. These files are both in the subdirectory that I need to protect...should I have them in a different or 'special' directory? Would I have even gotten a Dialogue Box if the server I am on did not support .ht files? Have triple checked PW, directory paths in the .htaccess file...any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
