I ordered it from Amazon on Thursday, paid a little over $16 total for next day delivery and it was delivered Friday evening (Dallas, Texas, USA).

It installed without even the slightest burp, and, although I haven't tried to do anything important, appears to be working very well.

My website, built in FrontPage, is working well, but, being a newbie, I did make a number of mistakes when building it, such as using non-compliant link bars, and leaving out codes that should have been on every page.

I had thought the best plan might be to just start over completely and build new pages instead of trying to convert my existing site.

My site has about 100 pages. Does anyone have a suggestion as to which way I should go?

It depends how bad your current website is. If it is fairly bad, it might be a good idea to re-code it up to standards. If there are just a few issues, but it works across the major browsers, I wouldn't touch it. Think about who your users are, and where they are coming from. If you notice that your website only contains about 1% mac users, and macs are the only browsers that have trouble on your website (minor issues, but still issues), it might not be worth it to upgrade.

100 pages is a lot to update....

You both make a lot of sense... but the whether or not to upgrade decision has already been made.

I'm just looking now for the best way to proceed.

The main reason I upgraded was that my FP code won't validate, and there is some concern that it makes my site less search engine friendly than it should be.

I did my best to find out for sure and, while there are many opinions in both directions, no one seems to really know... so it seems wise to do whatever I can to get it right.

The Microsoft Expression package I just received had a nice surprise… a second CD containing a tutorial from Total Training.

I’ve never been a fan of video training, but this is very good. I learned a lot in just a couple of hours… including answers to a couple of questions I’d heard here. One about page elements disappearing, turns out to be no problem at all… just a matter of nudging a layer a pixel or two.

It’s the first two hours of a 10-hour course, which I think I’ll buy.

In the process of investigating Microsoft tutorials, I discovered that they are presenting a free Microsoft Expression Webcast tomorrow. It would be a good way to decide if this is what you want to do.
