womble -> Domains and age limits (minimum age) (1/18/2007 12:26:27)

Is there an age limit, or rather minimum age, for legal ownership of domains? I've had a scoot round on google and not come up with anything. I seem to remember reading somewhere (can't remember where now) that there are thousands of domains registered by cats etc., which if true I guess would mean that practically anyone including the family moggy could have their own domain, but thought I ought to check and I'm wondering if there's any kind of general restriction on age on domains, or whether it'd be down to each registrar's TOS, or whether there aren't any rules? Reason: I've been helping my 7 yr old nephew to put a site together (a rather slow process because he keeps changing his mind about what he wants on it and then I have to spend time trying to talk him out of having different music on every page and such like [:D] ). He's now decided he's not content with a subdomain on one of my sites though and he wants his own, and I'm wondering if I can get him a domain in his name (and indeed whether that would be wise), or whether to do it in his mum's name? Ideas/comments/views? PS: explaining search engines and SEO to him has been fun. When we first started he wanted to know how people would find his site and whether he'd have to go round and knock on people's doors to tell them about it! Bless! [:D]
