M$ and HTML emails - 1/21/2007 3:50:33
Oh dear - just read this: Microsoft makes accessible ... HTML emails impossible I only set up emails for clients using Plain Text however I'm sure that there are quite a few people out there that would like to set up HTML emails etc. Well you won't be able to do it using CSS - only tables etc fairly soon.. Another stunning victory for M$ in the PR and accessibility stakes!

But the strongest arguement against this, I think, is that many people turn off images in emails, and EVERYONE is going to want their logo in their emails, meaning that you'll get a box with a red X in it mostly. To many people, I believe, seeing an empty box with an X in it signals "junk", so they are less likely to read it.
