Clean and to the point. No unnecessary text to distract from the art. While I'm not a big fan of flash it works well here with one small issue. When I use the close button I'm returned to the gallery where I started but if I use the backspace key I end up back at the home page...[&o][&:]

it's not flash it's the lightbox 2 js driven css thingy, so when you click on thumbnail you reveal a layer with the bigger pic in, so pressing back works the same way as you are actually still on the same page, whereas 'close' simply hides the layer. wonder whether i need to do anything about this? maybe a short help page to explain how it works??

The only explanations I've used on a client site are:

wait for the page to fully load or you'll get a static image
and
instructions for mouse and keyboard users.

Ok.

Good actually. But I'm picky, as always.

I don't like the fact the title changes between “Hannu a Leimu” and “Hannu A. Leimu”. It'd also be better in Arial.

I love the light grey text on a white page. The whole website has a sense of air and floating, but the usually sharp 1px borders are breaking the harmony.
