Frontpage extensions on windows 2003 problem - 1/31/2007 16:02:49
I have a new windows 2003 server running windows 2003 web edition. Every time I create a new website using iis I then click to install frontpage extensions everything goes fine, The page comes up with the 2 gears running while you are waiting for the task to complete, the gears never stop running letting you know the task has been completed. If you just close it out the extensions seem to be installed and all you can publish to it etc. But lets say you want to recalculate the web, the same box comes up with the 2 gears running and never stops. Also when I open the extencontrol center and make any change such as the default email etc, the submit buttoon does not submit the changes Server Administration The links below take you to administration pages where you can specify the rights available for roles, set installation defaults, and reset user passwords. Set list of available rights Set installation defaults Reset user password Virtual Servers Any ideas would certainly help Thanks otis

For the submit button - do you have that URL added to your trusted URLs in IE?
