wrapper -> order form not sending to email (2/1/2007 1:25:33)

I have just set up a website. Very new to this. I have everything working except the order form. I wanted to send the form to my email address with the details, but it's coming up with an error. Not sure what I am doing wrong. So...I changed it so it would send the form in txt to the server, still no luck. Can anyone help with suggestions? I don't want to cut and paste the whole html for the page. www.wrappedcreations.ca and the order form is under one of the categories.

Hi Wrapper. Does your server use Front Page extensions? If so, it's quite easy........

1) Click anywhere in the form;
2) Open the Insert menu, choose Form and select Form Properties;
3) Click Send To and specify the email address

If you don't have FP extensions, I think you'll need to write a script.

Hope this helps.

I have the form going to my email address and I do have Front Page Extensions on my server? So I would need to write a script you say?? How easy is that to do and is there a website that can show me how to do that?

If you have a control panel you might need to uninstall then reinstall the FPSE, as it looks like they are corrupted:

WWW Site: www.wrappedcreations.ca
Port: 80
Server Software: Apache/1.3.34
FrontPage Extensions: NO

If you don't have a control panel, you'll need to ask your host to do it.

However, I would suggest that you don't use the FrontPage form anyway, as it is highly insecure and shows your email address in the code for harvester bots to collect for spam purposes. As you are on Apache, I'd highly recommend you download and use Mike Cherim's form, it is very secure.
