How do I do an online employment application form? - 2/8/2007 10:56:19
Using FP 2002 and need to create an online employment application. Ideally needs to be secure and the info received in a readable format (as opposed to how info comes in from a standard form submission). Should also have the ability to attach a file (resume).
Looking for an easy way out here - any help or suggestions on how proceed much appreciated. FYI site is hosted on powweb.com.

I did something like this a few months back. Using PHP, I took a PDF file that contains the employment application, and then created a form that was protected with .htaccess. The potential employee visits the page, enters a user/pass, and then fills out and submits the form.
Then my client receives an e-mail saying that a new person has submitted an application. My client can then print it and save it on file somewhere.
The best thing about online applications is that they are always easy to read.
