Why is it underlining all my closed tags? - 3/2/2007 10:15:34
I am creating a page using XHTML 1.0 Strict. My image tags and meta-tags are closed accordingly and the page validates fine but EW has underlined all such lines in red and informs me that: quote:
"this element is not allowed to be closed in the current schema etc. remove closing slash" Why? Is this a bug - am I missing something - can someone make it stop please!

Can you post a snippet of code it is doing this with? Take care, Brian

Yep, that did it Jaybee. That line of code was copied from the W3C as part of a strict xhtml template. Seems fine without though and no more squiggly red underlining!
