text wrap CSS - 3/5/2007 13:17:43
OK, so I have been wrapping my text around irregular pictures for some time now, thanks to the ideas contained in This site about text wrap. Cool stuff there! Now, I have a picture that I want to have centered on the page, and the text wrap around both sides of it. Is this currently possible in a single-column format? I thought about making a 2-column page, splitting the image in half, and using this same technique, but the rest of my site is all 1 column and as cool as the effect would be it wouldn't be worth the discontinuity, especially since this is the main page I'm looking at.

Rest easy in the knowledge that it's too hard to read with an image in the middle anyway. People wouldn't know whether to try to read across the image or down the text column on either side.
