W3C Validator glitch - 3/6/2007 15:38:02
I don't know how long this has been going on but I've noticed it happening over the past couple of weeks.

When you run a page through the checker and you get a load of warnings suddenly appearing when you could swear they weren't there before, don't panic, refresh the page and hey presto, they've gone. :)

I'd noticed that, but didn't realise they disappeared if you refreshed. Thanks for the tip.

It was after we had that conversation the other day talking about small changes being the ones that trip you up. I knew my main site was completely error and warning free. Made a small change, ran the validator and I had 21 warnings.

I'd only changed something silly so I was gobsmacked. Checked the errors and there were a load saying things were applied to block levels. Errrrr yes, what else are you supposed to apply them to. So I fixed the one I knew what to do with then ran the validator again, 0 errors, 0 warnings.

Odd I thought, so I went off to see if I could find an explanation of the warning. Came back, ran it again 20 warnings, refreshed the page, no warnings, refreshed again 20 warnings........ go figure.
