upgrade to expression? - 3/8/2007 11:37:45
I have been using fp 2002. Can I buy the upgrade version for web expression? I read qualifying Microsoft FrontPage customers can upgrade today to Expression Web for an estimated retail price of US $99. However, I couldn't find how you would know if you qualify for the upgrade version. Also, I have done some sites using fp templates from pixelmill. Does anyone know if I will be able to use these templates in web expressions?

On one site I did read you could upgrade from any version. Then on another site I read for qualifying customers so I wanted to make sure I can buy the upgrade version. Thanks for the info. I plan to buy it today.

This includes FP 98 too I believe. So you can go buy an outdated version of FP (such as FP 98), and then buy the upgrade to EW.

I bet anyone who has been using Windows for a number of years will have an old copy around somewhere. Recently I was cleaning out old CD's and found a copy of "FrontPage Express" that I didn't even know I had. It just came with whatever version of Windows was out that year... and, some version of FrontPage was packaged with Windows until just a few versions back... I don't know when they stated charging extra for it.
