Table pushed below sidebar in IE6 - 3/9/2007 7:47:37
I have a table of 3 pics inside #contentandsidebar. How can I make the table and its images commence higher up in IE6?

Background:
1. #contentandsidebar contains #content that is floated left, and a #sidebar floated right, as well as the offending table. In IE6 (not IE7 or FF) I find that the table gets pushed down with an extra big space so that the table only commences once the #sidebar content ends.
2. I've tried not having the images in a table but I can't seem to remove the padding/margin between the images, so then the images are too wide for the intended space.
3. I want the images to sit on top of the footer.
4. The reason for having the #contentandsidebar div with a blue background is so that the blue at the bottom of the sidebar gradient extends to the bottom of the content and sidebar.
Any suggestions much appreciated!

To all those who've had a go at solving this problem, I've finally resolved it by moving the images out of the table, and using the solution in my next Outfront posting with subject: 'Why 3 images have spaces between?'
