Hi and welcome. I feel your question would be better answered if you post it on the CSS section of the site.

PS, if you visited some of our early work and still wish to continue in this road, congratualtions!

My first website was created in Netscape Composer, then I trained Frontpage 98.

How did I miss this thread... Oh my there is some amazing stuff in it. Mango's vet site was perfect and the trail of paws elegant. Jaybee and Womble, what can I say other than the Wedding web site was impeccable. I may have to borrow some ideas for an upcoming event site I was going to do :)

Sadly, my first 2 attempts no longer exist. I was doing them at the same time. One was for a record label I was starting and the other was for the band I was in at the time. Both were horrible ideas and sites, but some how according to the beautiful hit counter that was strategically placed at the bottom of the page we got a steady stream of people. We even had interest from bands in Canada wanting to send us their demos. :)

I had used MS Notepad to code the whole thing using HTML. I had no idea about CSS or any other editor. I remember the colors were pink and green. :). Man, what a disaster.:)

Oh then I tried my hand at doing a flash site using SWiSH. That was bad too. I really needed to stop drinking while I was doing these things, college times :).

Interestingly, much of my early work was done under the influence of alcohol...while simultaneously trying to hold a Skype conversation with Donkey, Caz and Golfer. I can't even blame being at college. They were just a bad influence on me. :)

The Page takes forever to load, maybe you should concentrate on fixing the loading time. When I design the page I always focus on the loading time. Also, if you have a faster connection then you should makesure that your page has a decent loading time since most users have a slow internet connection, some might have dial-up but not most of them.

Hackerpro you are aware that the post you replied to is almost 3 yrs old and that mtfm didn't post a link??? Is there a reason for your visit?
