Multiple urls point to specific pages within a site - 3/26/2007 15:51:44
03262007 1543 GMT-6 DST I have a client who was told by another business owner that she could purchase multiple urls and have them point to specific pages within her site. So if you are searching say socks and you have an apparal type of site, you might find SocksAreUs.com and it points to the sock page. Anyone done this before or doing this? wade

yes - we do this with IIS. What are you using? Or Godaddy even offers this as well. Are you looking on the way to do it?

As long as you use 301 redirects it should be OK. There is this thread one page websites that is going on as well that might be interesting for you to read. Plus it sounds like you might be more worried about Search Engine Optimization issues?
