I am running for school board and want to put little 1-2 minute video (avi) files on my website for the campaign. We have made avi files with our little digital camera but they take 2-4 minutes to download. I want these file on my own site, not Youtube where they might get yanked. How can I make these files load quicker???? The image quality does not have to be great. This is on a UNIX platform if that matters.

If you go and grab a demo copy of Swish Video you can pull the video in and set quality etc whilst converting to swf.
