TinyURL Add In For Firefox - 3/30/2007 11:18:03
Another great extension for my favorite browser, Firefox. The Tiny URL add in allows you to right-click on a web page, choose to create a tiny URL from the menu and it copies it to the clipboard. All you have to do is paste it into your destination. What a handy tool for affiliate marketers who want to hide their ID's and those wanting to avoid posting some of the huge URLs that some sites put out. You can find it at http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/126

What it does is change your long affiliate links into shorter ones. It's primary purpose is to cloak the link so that it doesn't appear as an affiliate link. It also makes it so the link is simply much smaller to deal with when, say, you're inserting it in a signature at a forum and there is a character limit.
