Norton and McAfee I won't touch with a bargepole after bad experiences with both. I removed that and it was fine. They were just a small family concern but the whole thing has taken off, some big companies are recommending them, Dabs for example. They now have live support and all sorts. Bit Def 10 is just out. Kaspersky has the best detection rates in just about EVERY test. It is quick, doesn't hog resources, and is very stable. There are many programs that are good enough to make people feel safe, but Kaspersky is still #1. We drove ourselves nuts trying to get rid of it. Every time we thought we had there was something left behind that put all the other bits back again. In the end I was soo hacked off I just hit the format c: option. That got it. Ohh the sense of satisfaction! _____________________________ If it ain't broke..... fix it until it is.
