Has anyone used PHP Runner? - 4/12/2007 0:10:17
If so, what do you think of it? Is there something out there you like better for developing php database driven sites? Thanks!

When it comes time to develop your own PHP project, remember that you can only use PHP to send information (HTML and such) to the Web browser. I have used it a few times to access a database and the likes. Worked good for what I needed.

I use PHP Runner almost exclusively for developing PHP/MySQL projects. I am sold on this product big time. If you download the free trial and have any questions I would be glad to help answer them if I can. I frequently blog about tips and tricks for using PHP Runner on my website also...

I use Dreamweaver it aint free but its a very good PHP editor.

I use Dreamweaver and Expression both as well but PHP Runner is a little bit different, it has tools or wizards built into it that will allow you to automatically generate your php code as opposed to hand coding. The code is surprisingly pretty clean also and can be modified once it's generated. It uses Smarty Templates also so customizing your final product is pretty easy.
