I recently got my sticky paws on a new monitor, a digital flat Panel 2000:1

Images on client sites that I had previously thought were sharp look absolutely carp on here. Mostly jpg and gif, the pngs seem OK.

If a client is complaining that their site is fuzzy, and you can't see anything wrong, find at what they're using to look at it.

So does that mean your new monitor is of good, bad or fishy quality?[;)]

Well put it like this, try and persuade all your clients, friends, family not to get one or you'll be redoing all the graphics. [&:]

I can't believe how bad some of the images look and yet when I go onto Harv's monitor, which is a good one, the pics look OK but his isn't digital and not 2000:1. I'm seriously thinking of changing everything I've done but it's file size that's the problem. They were as clear as I could get without the weight.

Oh, Mike. You're too much. I hope others don't miss your delightful humor. If so, reread Jaybee's post!

Jabee, tell me about it. How about getting a new monitor and then viewing hundreds of images you've edited and enhanced and then posted in online photo galleries during the previous couple of years. UGH!
