Was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this issue..
We have a web server on a network (WinServer 2003) that is assigned a private IP, IP Mapped by our router to a public IP. We have not setup DNS so we are using the public IP in some of the web pages. At one point, we were able to browse all the pages with no problems. However, not sure what may have caused it, but we are now not able to browse the pages with the public IP's from within the network. If we use the private IP of the server, all pages display just fine.
I would appreciate if anyone can tell me a little more about why this is happening and what we can do to fixt it. It's more of a nuisance in that we cant simply browse the pages as written while within the network.
