Database Results in Dreamweaver? - 5/3/2007 11:09:50
I have used FP since 2000 and have stuck with it since because of the database wizard. Most of the websites I am building now are content managed with the DRW. I prefer to design and layout my pages in Dreamweaver, but just can't give up FP because of the database stuff.

I need to learn how to build the database connections, both input and display pages in DW. I have to do this while still using an Access database.

Can this be done in DW? Can you point me to some tutorials where i can start to learn? Has anyone made this same transition and can offer any advice?

Thanks in advance.

I have not done it with an access database but have used DW with PHP/SQL database.

I must say it is very user friendly and easy...even for a newbie.

The only hard part is setting up the database connection in DW because you need to specify testing server.

But once you get it connected there are built in php tools which make it simple to insert, display, and modify records.

hope this helps
