127.0.0.1 with Apache - 5/6/2007 21:19:30
Hey guys, I have downloaded MySQL , Apache, and PHP to my local machine for learning and developing purposes. Everything seemed to go fine except for when I try to go to my local host by typing in http://127.0.0.1 it prompts me for a username and password.

So what am I missing?

I think you need to change your "privileges" with PHPMyAdmin, mainly the user name and password.

What are you using? Wamp????

but just going to my local host using the IP numbers should generate the index in the Apache Server.......but only get prompted for usernme and password.....I think the problem lies with Apache not PHP.
