Email link & Hotmail - 5/7/2007 8:54:21
I have been using the email address hyperlink in my web site. However a colleague tells me that it doesn't seem to work with hotmail (it certainly doesn't work with his account). It told him it wasn't allowed to send mail to my address. It certainly works with Outlook & Outlook express. Is this a known problem or is it something to do with my email address? Any help gratefully received as I might be losing contacts I need. Nick

It is more about the setting in the particular web browser being associated with an email application. Years ago when I got into web development they discouraged placing email address in pages for that reason. Thats why using a form was recommended.

OK. that makes sense to me. I've never used forms. Are they easy? I see there's a whole thread on them, I'll have a look. Any other advice on their use (or ease of) appreciated. Thanks

Keep cranking out those tunes. I love that kind of music man. Reminds me of songs like "Fiddlers Green". What great stories!!
