all your photos are gifs when they should be jpegs - gifs can't show the whole range of colours in the pictures and they are also large filesize for photographic images

conversely your main index page image sima.jpg should be a gif as it has lots of text and a limited colour palette

Thanks Dave for the notices.
Are the jpegs files bigger or smaller than gifs?
I am asking you cause I can propose that to the company that make the hosting of our web site.
So we could make the site faster by downloading.
Here in Greece the net connections starts now to becoming fast.
Anyway, thanks friend for your time. Have a nice day!

You can't tell until you've optimised them in a graphics package before saving them.

Normally, a photgraph saved as a gif will be a larger file as photos aren't meant to be gifs. Text saved as a jpg will be bigger than it would if saved as a gif.

It's trial and error but you need to pull them into something like Photoshop Elements then do a Save for web. You can switch between different file types and it'll show you the resulting sizes.

Make sure you resize the images before uploading them. Don't rely on dragging image handles in Frontpage or letting the design package resize them for you. If you want to display an image at 400 x 300 then make it that size before putting it on the page.

Kern my central logo is still in the same place as I checked it already.
Can you see it or it disappear from the screen.
Anyway, maybe I need to upgrade the site cause it has frames and as I noticed sometimes you can see the left or the right side of the frames and someone needs to retype the domain as www.marantoni.gr
Any good tips for better net promotion of a site?
Well, thanks friends for the advices. Nice day to all.

Start by getting rid of the frames.
