Hello, What software are you using on Vista to make backups of your DVD movie library? Thank you, Brian

AnyDVD + CloneDVD AnyDVD picks up the DVD in your drive, details the type of protection used, and then removes it. CloneDVD is used to make a FULL backup of the entire DVD. The DVD burns using the dual layer format, so it makes an exact copy, as opposed to DVD5 (compressed version). AnyDVD + CloneDVD is the best combo I have seen/used. If you copy the IFO/VOB files (option in CloneDVD),you will be able to use PowerDVD to watch them from your computer. I have my video card output a 720p signal to my TV via Component. Then my sound card outputs true 5.1 DDL to my receiver via Digital Coax (you can use a standard RCA cable and have the same quality as an expensive digital coax).

I downloaded a trial of dvd-cloner, it seems pretty straight forward and does it all in one program. It seems pretty nice. It that doesn't do it I will try your combo. I have used AnyDVD in the past. However the version I have installs on Vista, seems to work, but then the final test of playing it fails. I see they have newer version that handles Vista. Thank you, Brian

I've read that the quality of the burns with dvd cloner isnt that great. AnyDVD is always being upgraded too, so the company really stands behind their product.

E-mail Slysoft and ask them if they will still honor the additional $10 off cdfreaks coupon, and that you plan to purchase the AnyDVD and CloneDVD bundle.
