newbie help needed - 5/16/2007 7:50:08
I am not a web designer, just a secretary for a sports league. I am trying to take an excel spreadsheet area, save as a web page and post it to our site. I can do this much, but the problem is our members want to print this page, and the printed version comes out as half a page.

Is there an "easy" way to fix this? We used to use a pdf file, but a lot of our members didn't know how to install a pdf viewer on their personal computers.

Thanks,
Rod

Ahhh the joys of choice.

Learn how to install Acrobat Reader or learn how to adjust your printer settings so it all prints on one page.

To be honest, Acrobat Reader can be very easy, you include a link to it on the page so they just press the button. If necessary, put quick instructions underneath. Looks like you'll have to do that for printers anyway.

Can't tell exactly what the problem is without seeing it but it's going to be something like Portrait vs Landscape or Fit to page.
