my photoshop design site - 5/16/2007 13:50:40
I launched the website www.all4photoshop.com mainly about phototshop design (free brushes, free gradients, free style etc.). I want to know do you think about my website. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks in advanced

I was looking through some of the sites that people want critiqued and noticed that no one has taken time to critique yours. They haven't mine either, so I thought I'd leave you a critique.

I am by no means an expert and continue to learn, but one thing that comes to my mind is your navigation "bars". You have one along the top, which I live very much. However, the one on the left side is a bit redundant. I have a suggestion for it ... perhaps instead of copying the links of the top nav bar you could use that to break up the page links.

For example If you click on the top Brushes link .... then in the left hand navigation bar
you could have

Vases
Trucks
Boats
etc...

and if you clicked on the Styles link .... then in the left hand navigation bar you could have

Style 1
Style 2
Style 3
etc...

Not sure if my critique is or will be helpful, but, I thought someone should at least give you the idea that they had at least looked at your site.

looks nice

the logo text isn't antialiased and doesn't look very professional

In firefox, with the width set to thin the content portion of the page is bigger than the header / navigation part on every page i have looked at except the Contact Us page and the PSD Files page,

but other than that, it looks / works great IMO

I agree with MOONDOG about the navigation. One is enough. The one on top looks super so I would suggest you leave that and eliminate the side nav. Suggest using the left side to display more sample stuff with a links.

Your site look really nice. User friendly and interesting to look at. Did you use templates in your design?
