Insert rtf file - 5/17/2007 10:04:40
When using FP2002 and Expression when I insert a file.rtf I have no problem but
When using FP2003 to perform the same insert on the same file and page, FP says:

MS Office FrontPage needs a converter to display this file correctly. The feature is not available.

Then it goes into translating to html and gives me gibberish. I don't have the remaining Office 2003 Apps like Word etc., installed.

I've reinstalled FP2003 but the same thing.
Driving me crazy that it works in 2002 and Expression but not in 2003.

Any help please

I don't have FP installed but it may be that you need to tell it to use rtf. Take a look in your settings, see if there's a file type setup. You may need to have the disk handy.

As you don't have office, you can download Open Office which is free. it will save all the files in MS Office format if you choose that option when you save a file. It has the equivalents of all the Office stuff and then some.
