Editable Region not editable - 5/19/2007 15:44:40
Hi all.
Hope that someone can help me with this glitch.
I have created a template in DW (8). Have created two separate layers. In each layer I have made a table 1X1 at 100% width.
Now, in each table I have created an 'Editable Region', named them LeftText and the other BodyText. Saved the Template. Created a new page from template, called it index.
Index shows up and I can edit text in one of the 'Editable Regions' but not the other. (LeftText' region is editable. The other one just shows a O with a slash through it (like the ubiquitous "no whatever" signs ). What the hellodolly am I doing wrong?
One other thing I had tried as well. Since one of the editable regions will contain text that I want on all pages but one I placed text in that region right from the template but... some of the time the text will not show whenI view the document from a browser. The text shows on the page in DW but not on the browser.???
Can I screw thing up or what?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is that the region code was corrupted somehow. Have you tried deleting that region and recreating it?
If not, could you publish a page using that template for is to see?
