I am trying to find a picture of the good old pointing hand for a class. You know, when your cursor turns into a hand over a link? Tried playing around with screenshots but I can't figure it out. Help!! Thanks!

If you want just the hand with no link showing behind it, put a large white gif on a white page and give the image a hyperlink. Now when you preview you'll be able to easily get a screen capture of the mouse "hand" over that link. Linda ------------------ Frontpage Web Templates

In an image program, make a new image that's white and save as a gif. If you need more step-by-step info, let us know what image program you have. Linda ------------------ Frontpage Web Templates

I have microsoft image composer if that what you need to know. Thanks again for all the help!

My 98 grab didn't show the hand. Photoshop or Paint... The screen grab doesn't show the cursor.... I want an avatar! can u tell i'm going for 100?

Do a 'Search' of your hard drive. The hand .gif should show up.

Just be sure you have the hand showing when clicking Print Screen and you should have it captured onto your clipboard. Hi Alternatively you could have a look at the font Wingdings or Windings 2, both have a pointing hand, maybe you'll find what you want there. Another option is to download SnagIt from www.techsmith.com which allows you to choose if you want the cursor showing on the screenshot. Cheers Andy Internet Business Solutions S.L.

Heres a hand for u http://www.netwearz.com/hand.html , This is how i got it, i opened the shell32.dll in the windows/system dir. i used a program to extract the curser then opened microangelo to change the format then photoshop to save as a gif. let me know what color and background and i make it for u :)
