legit email spammer - 5/28/2007 15:22:30
Hi i was wondering if there is an authority to look up email servers, so see if they are registered to broadcast emails. Is there even such a thing? I have 20,000 clients in my database that have opt to recieve a newsletter. I want to email each one, but don't want to be flagged as a spammer, how would i prevent being black listed, can i register somewhere as legit? Thanks!

You can be bonded by some services and there are some whitelist IP services as well. Of course, it's up to the recipient's email server to use those services

I'd suggest that you look for a managed email host solution. I had the same issue as you but I only had 9000 emails. I tried to do it myself but throttling was a huge problem and cause my comp to hang. I moved to this other Aweber which managed it for me instead. It is a bit ex but the performance is great.
